July in Bear Lake
With summer now revving into full gear, July is a great time to visit Bear Lake with a group of friends, your partner, or the entire family. The area has so many exciting things to experience that choosing what to do and when to do it can be challenging. That’s why we created this two-day mid-July itinerary so you can spend less time planning and more time having a Bear Lake blast.

Day 1

Cruise into Bear Lake at 11:00 am and start your trip the right way at Zips. Afterward, enjoy a favorite summer pastime—go-karts! Renegade Raceway will send smiles all around. If fishing is more your scene, Heritage Park and Garden City Pond is a tranquil spot for some July fishing. Stay the night at Sun Outdoors Garden City, where accommodations are right on the beach.

Day 2

Start the day with at Moosiedrive-through for a coffee, smoothie, or breakfast burrito. Plan to spend the day at Bridgerland Adventure Park, where a 350-foot slide, ropes course, and zip line await. Stay on-site for lunch in the park at Bridgerland’s own restaurant. After a leisurely stroll on the Garden City bike path , catch dinner at Bear Trapper.
